Responsibility

In everyday life, whether things go well or everything falls apart, you must learn to take responsibility for your actions.

I have not met one man, woman, or child who won't take credit when things actually go according to plan. When things fall apart, everyone disappears.

The old saying, "Success has one thousand fathers but failure is an orphan," applies to responsibility. If everyone owned up to the good as well as the bad, our society would be much more productive.

At American School of Martial Arts (ASMA), we teach your children to take responsibility for their actions by doing different drills to make them aware of their actions and how their actions effect others. At ASMA we want to make sure your children take responsibility for their successes and failures. From our failures we learn the most.

When we succeed, we are on top of the world and we don't really learn. When we fail, we search and analyze ourselves to find a way not to fail. That is where true learning lies.
